AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Letter from the President

Welcome to the Sigma Theta chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi at SHSU! My name is Maegan Roberts and I have the honor of serving as Chapter President. Being a sister of Alpha Omicron Pi goes beyond just being in a sorority. Being a member of Alpha Omicron Pi allows you to be surrounded by women who bring out the absolute best in you, who push you to reach your most challenging goals, and having women who inspire you every single day. Our sisterhood was founded on the ideals of unconditional friendship and love, and this is exactly what Alpha Omicron Pi gives me. As Chapter President, I am beyond proud to lead the most amazing group of women. This chapter has given me a college experience full of genuine friendships, so many leadership opportunities, and I thank my sisters for always giving me the unconditional support and encouragement needed to be in this office; those are the moments I will cherish forever.
